FIRE SAFETY :
Key Activities
Adherence to safety norms / permit system.
Help in conducting fire drills for the occupants at a set frequency.
Testing of all firefighting equipments for their effective functioning.
Upkeep of fire protection system of the unit.
Adherence & follow up of the audit points raised by corporate safety head.
Manage the requirements of Safety items across units and channel.
Investigation of safety accidents, near misses & fires, compiling reports and inform to corporate safety head.
Carry out frisking of employees, workers & security staff.
Inventory control of safety items across the units.
Conduct on job safety training to employees, contractual workers and security staff.
Conduct safety induction programs for all new joinees.
Use electronic surveillance to monitor units with respect to fire and safety.
KPI :
No. of fire drills conducted.
Firefighting equipment readiness Audit Score.
No. of incidents related to non-compliance with safety procedures.
No. of delays in timely investigation and report compilation
No. of delays in arranging firefighting equipment.
No. of safety accidents, near misses, fire or deviations reported.
TEAM DEVELOPMENT :
Conduct on job training to employees, contractual workers, security staff etc.
Provide Support in implementation of EHS training & feedback mechanism
Build volunteer members in 5S and fire & safety team across units.
Develop Successor for Business Continuity.
No. of training conducted on Firefighting and safety at each unit
No. of volunteer members added in team.
No. of Job rotation within the function.
