Job Title: Executive QA / QC
Education – BE/B. Tech –(chemical, rubber, polymer, mechanical)/ Diploma / B.Sc.(BIO-Chemical )
Age – 27 to 32
Experience – 6- 8 years
CTC –3- 4.5 LPA
Department:Quality Assurance
Report to:AM – QA
Division:Gwalior Plant
Scope of the job: Ensure Customer satisfaction by driving Quality improvement initiatives and ensurenecessary controls during process to met required specifications
Key
responsibilities:
1.
Drive
robust quality culture in the organization:
a. Allocate manpower to ensure quality checks at each steps to meet required specification
b. Prepare and deploy check sheet at Incoming inspection area – Ensure that all components are met desired quality requirements.
c. Identify checkpoints and deploy checking method during In process inspection.
d. Development of control plan – Inspection check sheet, Inspection reports during in-process inspection.
e. Development of check sheet / inspection reports for finished goods based on customer requirements.
f. Deployment of PPAP and ensure proper documentation during new product development.
g. Ensure Pre-dispatch inspection to met customer requirements
h. Handling analytical lab – Performing all the tests as per the BIS and Company standard
i. Ensure type testing and product performance tested at regular interval.
j. Keep the lab in good condition – 5s, Machine maintenance, calibration of all the equipments, GLP (Good Laboratory Practices)
k. Prepare the master sample of all the raw material and vendor development
2.
Customer
complaint Management:
a. Drive 8D methodology to address customer complaints / issues in shop floor
b. Keen on root cause analysis, 7 QC tools and should use it as part of problem solving method
c. Visit customer and drive improvement projects based on Voice of Customer
d. Market visits for gathering first hand information about quality of foam supplied and packaging (CAPA)
e. Interact with dealer / C&FA/ warehouse/marketing & Sales team to get the feedback
f. Handle customer audits and drive improvement actions to ensure robust Quality system requirements
3.
Maintenance
of records:
a. Inspection report for Raw materials, in-process inspection records, Pre-dispatch inspection, CAPA, packaging inspection etc
b. Lab testing record, Monthly performance tracking
c. Data analysis
4.
Training
& Development:
a. Give on the job training to the factory workers on 7QC tools, customer requirements.
5.
Cost
savings & others
a. Reduce the wastages in the factory (Identify the 8 waste and eliminate)
b. Reduce the internal rejections
c. Plant hygiene, proper storage of Raw materials & Finished goods.
d. Frequent quality audit and rate the process for improvement
e. Implement different Quality tools and its sustainability (basic 7 qc tools)
f. Cost saving projects using KOS (Kaizen)
g. Analysis, documents and report back for the products which are coming back from the customer / end users due to defect
h.
Analyze the internal failure, external
failure and take CAPA to reduce the same

standards and make sure 100% IWAY compliance.
