Minimum Qualification

MBA

 

Age Limit

:

Up to 38 years

 

Experience

:

Around 12 yrs of experience in managerial cadre managing large sales team (RBM / SBM for at least 3-5 Years). Ideal candidate must have proven experience of handling turnover of 100 to 150 Crores or more in a year.

 

Channel Sales / General Trade handling experience from the following sectors Tyres, Paint, Plywood, Glass, Sanitary, Tiles, Durables (washing machines, watches), laminates, Lighting industry, etc.

 

Candidate must have knowledge of channel management and any candidate with the added experience of direct sales to dealers will be preferred. (not limited to Govt. or Institution)

Role summary

:

Regional Business Manager will provide support and drive implementation of the organic growth strategy of the company. Competitively position and grow the Company business and maintain industry/customer relationship

Would beheading entire Tamil Nadu REGION comprising of 5 Branch Offices and managing a fairly large team of Area Business Managers & Business Officers

 

CTC Range

:

Rs.20 to 25 LPA (Negotiable)

 

Job Responsibilities         :

 

1.            Overall in-charge of entire sales functions of the state both functionally and administratively.

2.            Total responsibility for achieving the objectives and goals of the company related to SALES of the assigned state.

3.            Ensuring that there is proper growth in the markets controlled by the ASO’s under him.

4.            Responsible for brand building activities in the state by coordinating with the Marketing, HO Team / National Sales Head.

5.            Utilizing the Local advertisement A budget that is available, in a proper manner in consultation with National Sales Head.

6.            Responsible for monitoring the Collections/ Outstandings in the ASOs of the Region.

7.            Calling on dealers and ensuring that all issues like credit note/debit notes or other small operational issues are sorted out and issues beyond his level to be reported to the next level of authority to be informed.

8.            Increasing the depth and width of the Channels.

9.            Identify the new markets where we can penetrate and increase sales.

10.          Calling on Institutional Accounts.

11.         Monitoring the Display of Company P.O.P Material.

12.          Informing and implementing the Companies Policies in the market.

13.          Ensuring the expenses are kept under control (along with the B.A).

14.         Interacting with the Zonal office/ HO for various issues that may crop up from time to time.

15.         Directly responsible for the sales through exclusive franchisees

16.         Franchisee sales follow up and identify where the new franchisee dealers have to come

17.         Nurturing of New Dealers.

18.         Interacting with the H.O and easing the bottlenecks that are there in the field for providing support to the sales teams in the assigned state.

19.         Instrumental in the Launch of new product lines and be a Member of the think tank in formulating strategies in the Market.

20.         Monitoring and controlling the inventory costs in the state.

21.         Records/files to maintain for the the territory that is assigned:

 

Ø  The dealer wise off take

Ø  Dealer/Institution outstanding details month-wise

Ø  Advance Scheme status

Ø  KKK status

Ø  Potential of the market and our participation in the market

Ø  Price Grids for the fast-moving sizes

Ø  Sales comparison details of the Past three years in the territory

Ø  Daily Call report

Ø  Tour Program duly signed by the higher Authority
