Position: Tech Lead

Experience: 7+ years

-  Good Communication Skills

 

-  Should have good knowledge of the latest trends and developments in the Ruby and Rails community

 

-  Should have worked with products

 

-  Rails 5+ and above with OOPS concepts, MVC, ORM, naming conventions, Active Record, etc

 

-  Knowledge in writing clean, readable Ruby code.

 

-  Review team members code, resolving bottlenecks, application performance management

 

-  OOPS concepts, de-coupled module development

 

-  Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code

 

-  Knowledge of Security coding standards

 

-  AGILE Methodology

 

-  Knowledge on Responsive design using Bootstrap 3+, React JS, Angular, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML 5, J Query, AJAX

 

-  Knowledge of R Spec, Payment Gateway Integration

 

-  Strong knowledge in Active Records, PostgreSQL and good knowledge in stored procedures

 

-  Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system, DB Design, normalization

 

-  Server administration

 

-  Production Deployments in AWS/Azure

 

-  GIT branching, conflict resolving, merging and code versioning, deployments, etc

 

-  Familiarity with continuous integration/Development (CI/CD)

 

-  REST APIs (Coding standards in API development)

 

-  Familiarity with development aiding tools such as Sublime & Visual Studio

 

-  Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

 

-  Help maintain code quality and code reviews

 

-  Understanding the requirements from Business Analyst and providing dev estimate, technical solutions

 

-  GEMS: Sidekick, New Relic, geocoder, dossier, Apartment (multi-tenant)

 

-  JIRA Bug tracking tool

 

-  Developer environment setup and solid working knowledge in Ubuntu

 

-  Coordinate with the client for the on-going process like technical discussions, status calls, etc.

 

-  Provide technical assistance and implementation for interfacing with 3rd party APIs.

 

-  Evaluate and add open source components.

 

-  Mentor and assist other developers, review their technical capability and productive results.

 

-  Contribution to the community in form of gems, plugins, or technical articles/publications.
