Job Title

Team Manager – Export

 

Incumbent Name

 

 

Reporting to

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

 

Purpose

Prepare, Implement and Monitor strategies & policies for achieving targeted sales, TP and improve International presence on a sustainable basis. Strategically Market and Industrial Product in the international markets by identifying customers and their needs.

·      Prepare sales plan and ensure that the sales team achieve the set RCV & TP targets of Export Sales.

·      Create schemes / incentives / discount structures for International Customers.

·      Identify and increase sales of High TP products.

·      Focus on improving Low TP Products.

·      Prospect & identify opportunities and convert them into business.

·      Analyse and monitor the current global markets and prepare a business plan to identify and develop new sales opportunities for the export.

·      Actively follow current industry trends, market and competitors’ activities and use them to rationalize product portfolio & new product development.

·      Negotiate shippers, agents, etc to ensure smooth supply of material upon customer’s port.

Market Development & Penetration

 

·      Develop and Implement strategies for enhancing market share.

·      Ensure adherence to country specific import legislation.

·      Planning for BSM / Exhibition / Trade Show and Promotional activity.

·      Look for new customers / avenues to increase market share in International market.

·      Ensure Global presence in Social Media and portals

·      No of new customers added

·      New Foam applications identified and added

·      Participation in No of fairs / exhibitions

 

Customer Satisfaction

 

·      Maintain and enhance relationship with customers by providing support, information and guidance.

·      Ensure timely end customer complaint redressal.

·      Complaint resolution time.

 

 

Collections

·      Ensure compliance to Statutory requirement.

·      Ensure that payments are received timely from the customers.

·      Ensure all custom, financial, etc. formalities to be completed on time.

·      Credit Days

·      Pending statutory requirement.

Team Development

·      Provide training on export formalities, product knowledge to entire export team.

·      Periodically review Sales performance with Team.

·      Develop successor for Business Continuity.

·      No. of Training Conducted

Key Decisions

l   Decision on adding or dropping an Export customers.

l   Decision on adding products in Export Portfolio.

l   Decision on finalizing rates contracts, payment terms and conditions.

l   Take decision on job rotation, employee development, promotion recommendation, disengaging non-performers and manpower planning.

 

Working Relation

·      Close relationship with Peers to have a better understanding of Industry.

·      Close relationship with R & D Department to ensure better understanding and smooth introduction / changes product portfolio for export customers.

·      Work closely with Lab to provide all certification / test as required by Export customers.

·      Work closely Customers to understand and develop product line extensions or new product lines.

·      Close relation with Commercial to ensure that all financial claims / accounts of Export Parties are settled within time.

·      Work closely with marketing department for catalogue support.

·      Close relationship with other Service Departments.

·      Work with operations, logistics and other concerned departments for better and timely service to customers.

·      Work closely with Units to ensure timely and defect free supplies as per international standards.

·      Work closely with Customs and other Government Departments to ensure all legal formalities are completed for exports.

·      Close relation with subordinates to ensure harmonious working conditions.

 

Experience & Qualification

·      As per the Policy

    Years of experience - 7- 12 yrs

    Location - Noida

    CTC - up to 10 LPA
