Technology Project Manager
Location: Bengaluru
We are looking for a hands-on, technology
experts to drive challenging IT initiatives.
As a Technology Project Manager, you will be responsible
for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines
and within budget. This includes coordinating with business managers, users, acquiring
resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors
or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. You will also
define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life
cycle.
Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities
· Define and document project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
· Propose and deploy best-in-class technology solutions for critical business requirements
· Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents
· Effectively communicate project expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
· Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
· Prepare budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
· Determine and assess the need for additional project staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during the project cycle.
· Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
· Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
· Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
· Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Qualifications and
Skills:
·
Bachelor’s
degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
·
At
least 8 years of software development experience with at least 3 years as a
Project Manager including all aspects of process development and execution.
· Hands-on experience in design and development of enterprise-grade applications in multiple technologies.
· Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management practices and the ability to blend them together to fit a project.
·
A
proven track record of successfully implementing large-scale, complex
enterprise software and web/mobile development projects
·
Strong
business and technical background
·
Strong
interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team
building.
·
Excellent
oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both
business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level.
·
In-depth
knowledge of several technologies and domains: Java, PHP, .Net, Cloud, ERP,
CRM, Android, iOS, Microservice architecture etc.
·
Background/experience
in Manufacturing processes or working in internal IT teams of manufacturing
companies is an added advantage.
